Join Royal City Tours for a morning of sights, sounds, and unique hidden gems that give you the chance to experience the vibrant energy of NYC just like a local! Throughout the duration of the tour, you’ll be mesmerized by the spectacular panoramic skyline views of Manhattan from across the famous Hudson. Whether you are a history, movie, or photography buff, this tour is designed just for you.
Pack your camera and your sense of adventure as Royal City Tours offers visitors the chance to experience one of the best kept secrets around – the New Jersey Waterfront. We’ll stroll the streets of Hoboken, also known as the city of Frank Sinatra, and we’ll gaze in wonder at the world-renowned landmarks of NYC. This morning tour presents an abundance of once-in-a-lifetime photo ops, and you’ll enjoy bold and dramatic views of the city’s iconic skyline, dazzling in the sunlight from across the Hudson River.
There is truly something for everyone to enjoy on this tour, and our professional guides will take you on a journey filled with breathtaking views, history, movie secrets, and other little-known facts about the City of Dreams.
We’ll begin our journey at Liberty State Park, a captivating and peaceful space with awe-inspiring views of New York City Harbor, Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue Of Liberty, Ellis Island, Brooklyn, Verrazano Narrows Bridge, and Staten Island. Visitors often report feeling chills, and even feeling speechless, when standing in front of Manhattan’s magnificent skyline panoramic views and the most iconic symbol of freedom, the mighty Lady Liberty.
One of the most reverent and poignant sights in Liberty Park is the Empty Sky 9/11 Memorial. It is a moving, humbling, and deeply emotional experience, a tribute to the Americans who lost their lives during the attacks on the Twin Towers. The name of each of the 746 victims is etched in the stainless steel of the twin walls of the memorial, an everlasting reminder of the life-changing events that unfolded on September 11.
Then we’ll take some time to explore the fascinating city of Hoboken, NJ, including a stop at Carlo’s Bake Shop. This legendary bakery has been a Hoboken treasure since 1910, and is world-famous as the site of the TV show Cake Boss. Take some time to browse the delicious pastries and decadent treats, and pick up a few of your favorites to enjoy on the way back to Manhattan!
We’ll also take a stroll through Pier C Park, enjoy a scenic drive to marvel at the iconic Hoboken Brownstones, and end our tour with the absolutely breathtaking views of Manhattan from Hamilton Park.
Experience the vibrant morning energy of NYC with this half-day tour experience you’ll never forget!
